For Kevin, financial advising is fundamentally about people, not just numbers. He believes meaningful client relationships are built on trust, respect, and genuine connection. Kevin takes the time to understand what matters most to each individual he serves — from young families laying the groundwork for their future to couples preparing for life’s next chapter.
What drives him most is developing thoughtful, creative, and personalized strategies that help clients move toward their goals with clarity and confidence — and appreciate the process along the way.
Q&A with Kevin
What was your first job?
I spent my summers working on a local farm, picking corn and beans. It didn’t take long to learn what hard work really means — early mornings, long days, and a whole new appreciation for the people who do that kind of work every day.
What led you to this career?
I’ve always wanted a career where I could help people in a meaningful way. I figured if I could make a difference in someone’s life, I’d feel fulfilled in mine — and that’s exactly what this career has given me.
What energizes you at work?
Helping clients reach their goals. It often means problem-solving, thinking outside the box, and finding creative ways forward. When it all comes together — when you can see someone’s stress turn into relief — that’s the best feeling.
If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?
Playing the guitar. I have absolutely no musical talent, but watching someone play live has always captivated me.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given—and who gave it to you?
My grandfather once told me, “If you show up on time, do what you say you’re going to do, and treat everyone like family, you’ll do just fine in life.” It’s simple, but it’s advice that’s shaped how I live and work.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Honestly? My dad. I wanted to be just like him. And if I had to pick a second answer — Michael Jordan, of course. Who didn’t want to “be like Mike”?
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Spending time with my kids — hopefully outside! Whether it’s a game, an adventure, or just being together, that’s where I’m happiest.
What’s the top destination on your must-visit list?
Seeing the Northern Lights is at the top of my list. I’m not sure exactly where yet — there are so many amazing places to experience them — but one day, I’ll be there under that glowing sky.
